Nouri Foundation allows people to play sports and play together in a safe environment. This has always been Abdelhak's motto. When he played in a square, he made sure that everyone, regardless of limitations, could participate.
AED project
The first project that the Nouri Foundation started was to place 34 AEDs (defibrillators) at (sports) venues in 34 Dutch cities. 34 because that was Nouri's back number at Ajax. The Nouri Foundation wants to do more than just place an AED. Therefore, when placing an AED the professional soccer organization, municipality and ambassadors will be involved to create (extra) attention and awareness for this important topic so that everyone can play sports and games in a safe environment.
During the placement of an AED, activities will take place for people and young people who are afraid or unable to participate. When placing the AEDs, the focus is on locations where they are not obviously present. Creating a safe environment also ensures that no one is left on the sidelines.
In addition, it is important that people know how to use an AED. Therefore, in addition to placing AEDs, the Nouri Foundation will also provide courses to explain to (sports) coaches how to use an AED. Each time the AED is placed, we will provide an event that promotes the mission of the Nouri Foundation: everyone is involved!
